Putting people at ease and assisting in the sometimes difficult decision-making process has been a consistent part of Brenda’s work history. She always toyed with the idea of “someday” becoming a REALTOR®. Once she and Cecil (her husband of 38 years) moved to Horseshoe Bay in 2018, Brenda started working toward making that vision a reality.
Brenda was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She served in the education arena for 38 years. During those years, she was a classroom teacher, campus administrator, and statewide director of schools. She and Cecil have two children who are now grown. Their daughter, Brianna, continues to live in Houston with her husband. Harrison, their son, lives in Bandera.
Domestic and international meetings and conventions are part of Cecil’s business. They are a passion for Brenda as well. Over the years, they spent many spring breaks and mini-vacations at the Horseshoe Bay Resort. After years of enjoying the peace and beauty of the area, they determined that this was where they wanted to be full-time. Since both of them were blessed to be officing at home, they did not need to wait for retirement to make the move to Horseshoe Bay. When not working, Brenda and Cecil can usually be found at local festivals, wineries, or restaurants. They also both volunteer at their church. They enjoy the outdoors and all that the beautiful Texas Hill Country has to offer.
Brenda doesn’t merely aspire to sell houses and property in the area. She has become an active member of multiple committees at the local real estate association, and continues to take extra education courses to stay current with all things real estate. She desires to treat every client as though they are her only client and to serve them with the highest level of integrity.
