About Jackie Thatcher

Hi, I have been interested in real estate for several years and became a REALTOR in January 2015. I was born and raised amidst the oil fields of West Texas. In 2012, my husband Tommy and I purchased a home in Horseshoe Bay and came as often as possible. We love the hill country with all that it offers from breathtaking views to golf courses and of course the lakes and rivers. We made this our permanent home in 2014.

 

I have been married to my best friend for over 50 years, having been childhood sweethearts. I have one daughter, three sons, seven awesome grandchildren, and one great grandchild; not to mention my four wonderful “in-law” children that I am proud to claim as my own.

 

I owned and ran a Medical Transcription business for 15 years and home-schooled my three boys until they entered college while my daughter chose to remain in public schools. I am extremely proud of my family, their individual accomplishments, and the close relationships that we all have.

 

While in West Texas I served as a volunteer and later joined the staff of The Life Center, a life-affirming pregnancy center, where I was also on the advisory board. Currently, I am on the board of the Highland Lakes Pregnancy Resource Center in Marble Falls and volunteer as a teacher at the Center.

 

One of my favorite scriptures states “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man.” This is how I try to approach every task I undertake, including helping my clients buy or sell their homes. Toward that end, I continue to educate myself in the Real Estate Business and serve in different aspects on our local Real Estate Board. Helping others to find their dream home is very fulfilling and making a new friend in the process is “icing on the cake.” My goal is to serve each and every one of my clients with excellence.
