Mark is not a native Texan, but he got here as fast as he could, moving to Austin with his family in 1964. Growing up in Austin, it was natural for him to attend the University of Texas, where he graduated with a degree in Education and a minor in Economics. Mark was also a manager of the UT Football team during the “Earl Campbell days”. Mark and his wife raised two kids in Austin, thinking they too would be Longhorns, yet still proud that both will graduate from Texas A&M as “Fighting Texas Aggies” in 2024.
After college he worked for the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, retiring from the city in 2003. Immediately after retirement, he began working as Executive Director for Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), a non-profit sports organization.
Although Mark is a newly licensed Agent, he isn’t new to the business, as he has completed ten real estate transactions (personally and for his business) in the past three years, forming his interest in the real estate industry. Since moving to Horseshoe Bay in 2021 he and his wife have developed a love and passion for the area and can’t imagine living anywhere else. His goal is to help others relocate and experience all the beauty, fun and opportunity the Highland lakes area offers.
